Holly Mepham was appointed Group Safety, Quality and Environment (SQE) Manager on 1st May, reporting directly to Keolis Downer CEO, David Franks.
Holly has been part of the Keolis Downer Hunter (KDH) team since 2017 and, as the National SQE Manager, has developed a true culture of safety and accountability, through the many initiatives she implemented in Newcastle and more broadly the bus division.
As the new Group SQE Manager, Holly will be developing, in coordination with SQE Managers across Keolis Downer operations in Australia, effective compliance frameworks that promote transparency and ethical business practices across our business, as well as provide critical risk management strategy, safety governance, assurance and compliance expertise to achieve best practice and continuous improvement in current and future operations.
David Franks comments, “through her innovative thinking and her thorough understanding of our operational structure and environment, I am confident Holly will drive our Zero Harm approach effectively.”
Prior to joining Keolis Downer in 2017, Holly has worked for BHP Billiton and Pacific National leading safety teams across a variety of industries including rail, infrastructure, civil, logistics, mining and exploration.
Holly brings 20 years of experience in development, implementation, ongoing monitoring and management of integrated management systems (IMS) and driving cultural change through leading and engaging with all levels across multi-site operations.
