One million reasons to catch public transport on the Northern Beaches

11 April 2024

Transport for NSW is celebrating a major milestone on the Northern Beaches, with one million passengers using Keolis Downer’s On Demand service, Keoride.

This service is an advanced, user-oriented form of public transport, which has been servicing the Northern Beaches since 2017. It offers a flexible mode of public transport, meeting the needs of the community in a more personal, accessible, and convenient way.

Passengers use an app to easily book rides, track their journey in real-time and provide valuable feedback to both Keolis Downer and Transport for NSW.

Since launching, the Keoride On Demand service has completed over one million trips on the Northern Beaches, with more than 98% customer satisfaction.

Transport for NSW and Keolis Downer are committed to delivering a bus network that meets the needs of the community, with Keoride’s success showcasing our focus on customer service, professionalism and care for our drivers and operations team.
